I agree with you Silver Ion, I like to get all of that stuff out of the way before we can become serious. When I began dating about 2 yrs ago my first priority was to find my soul mate & begin a new relationship.
There are certain things that are very important to me in a relationship that I'm not wanting to wait for 6 months or even a year to find out about and then realize I'm unhappy and need another solution. While the last 10 yrs of my marriage were difficult, the wonderful memories of the 1st 20 yrs completely overshadowed everything else & made me yearn to have someone special in my life. I still miss not having someone special to share my life with.
