Getting to know one another dating

Shocker: Every single one of the 23 respondents had a different definition.I would say dating someone means that you and another person are consistently seeing each other in a boyfriend/girlfriend type of manner. But overall, odds are you're doing something that falls under one of the two umbrellas.I thought I had a pretty good grip on this whole "what does dating mean" thing. They started off as casual, and then things got a little more serious when we became exclusive. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend, and boom: We were in a real relationship.Emotional and physical intimacy fit together like penises and vaginas, so once you’ve seen each other naked, that’s when you start revealing what your childhood was like, she tells you how many dudes she’s slept with, you confess to her about that time you killed a man, etc.

What are you agreeing to when someone asks if you want to "date" them?!

By the third date or so, you either develop a chemistry or you don’t.

You still don’t know each other, but you should have a pretty good idea of what each other is all about.

Three dates to know if she’s girlfriend material, nine months to know if she’s marriage material.

As far as I'm concerned, there are two types of pseudo-relationships you can be in that aren't real, bonafide relationships: You're either "hooking up" (casual booty calls, probably not going anywhere) or you're "dating" (going on dates, getting to know each other, hopefully going somewhere).
